Three fortresses, one day
Dobrogea, this mosaic of cultures and civilizations that left behind grandeur and inestimable values. It is spectacularly surrounded by waters, rich in fortresses and archaeological sites, it is adorned with gorges, mountains and hills; Dobrogea is always the perfect choice for a trip.
In one day you travel through more than two thousand years of its history. You start at Enisala, a medieval fortress on a limestone hill above the Razelm lagoon. You continue to Argamum, the ruins of an ancient city on a cape of Lake Razelm. You end at Histria, the Greek city on the old shore of the Black Sea, and its museum.
Between the fortresses, the road runs along the lagoons, through quiet villages, low hills and rows of walnut trees. Your guide picks you up from your address in Tulcea and brings you back at the end of the day.

- Morning Pick up at your address in Tulcea, at a time we confirm with you at least one day before.
- Morning Along the Razelm lagoon to Enisala, with a view of Popina Island on the way, and a visit to the fortress.
- Late morning Argamum, on the shore of Lake Razelm.
- Midday Lunch break: bring a picnic, or ask us about an optional lunch at a local restaurant.
- Afternoon Histria, the ancient city and its museum.
- Evening Back to Tulcea, through hills, plains and rows of walnut trees.
Pick up from another place than Tulcea is possible on request, for an extra price.

Price and booking
Any day from October to April. The price is for your whole group, in euro, VAT included: €450 for 1 or 2 guests and €500 for 3 to 6 guests. For a larger group, write to us for the price.

How to book
- Send a booking request. Choose your date and the number of guests and fill in the form. We usually answer in less than 24 hours. Please check your spam folder too.
- We confirm and send you the payment link.
- Your booking is confirmed when you pay the 50% deposit, online, through the payment link. Until then, no places are held for you.
- Pay the balance at boarding, in cash or by card (RON or EUR).
A request is not a booking. Please pay within 3 days of our email. If we do not receive the 50% deposit by then, the request expires and the places go to other guests. If you decide later, write to us first to check that there is still room. Do not pay an old payment link without asking us: if the places are taken, we can only refund you.
Bookings are taken only through the form or by email. The phone is for information only.
Cancellation policy
- More than 90 days before the trip, you can postpone it. You receive a voucher valid for 2 years.
- Less than 90 days before the trip, the deposit is not refundable and cannot be moved to another program.
Children
- The price is per group, so children do not change it.
- Every child, of any age, counts as one guest.
- Parents are fully responsible for supervising their children during the trip.

Bring with you
You walk on uneven ground at all three sites, often in the wind from the lagoon. Dress for the season.

- A warm, windproof jacket and a rain jacket
- A hat and gloves in the cold months
